What others have said about PCPG's Eastern-PA PG Review Course for the Practicing Geologist and ASBOGĀ® Exam Candidate seminars

Return to August 15-16, 2019 event registration page.

  • Course content was excellent.
  • It was a good review and the soils section was very good.
  • Presentations on thumb drive is very useful.
  • All the information was conveyed in a clear/concise manner.
  • I will rely on all the material presented today; however, the mineralogy portion was the most useful for day one.
  • The course gave me a clearer understand of geochemistry  topics.
  • Very pleased with material covered, and excellent slides.
  • Economic geology and soils information very useful.
  • Sed/Strat/Paleo was basic. Maybe do quicker review of this section.
  • My personal weak-point is stratigraphy and I appreciated the detail in its review.
  • Should be 3 days, minimum.
  • Appreciate the depth of material covered.
  • Excellent teaching faculty.
Good overall review for the old dogs.
  • Presenters were very clear communicators and expert in field.
  • Nice to brush up on theory and course work that hasn't been applied since college.
  • The hydrogeology portion was a good refresher and useful.
  • Presentations geared towards exam were useful but some presentations seems to be a large collection of pictures with little actual information aside from instructor comments.
  • Very informative presenters who went through a lot of material efficiency and kept class interest.
  • The most useful part of the seminar was that I identified gaps in my course work memory and now know areas I need to brush up on.  Economic, and Structural presentations were very informative.

  • General review was great, and much needed.
