Course Overview
PCPG has partnered with Industry Professionals and PADEP to present this full day course which will go above and beyond an overview of the Land Recycling Program, commonly known as Act 2. This course will provide an understanding of how…where…when…and why to apply Act 2 to your property.  The 'Practical' administrative requirements of Act 2 will be discussed; from submission of the Notice of Intent to Remediate (NIR) to the necessary components of a final report, Topics will include the 'Conceptual' components of Act 2; from identifying sources, receptors and pathways to getting Act 2 signoff through to completion with environmental covenants.  Attendees will gain an understanding of remediation standard options and attainment demonstration under each of these options. Case studies will be presented to provide a real-world understanding of Act 2. Course registrants will learn from PADEP's perspective the common mistakes made in the  Act 2 process  and will be provided  an update of pending revisions to Chapter 250, the MSC Tables, the TGM and VI guidelines.

Who Should Attend
This course is designed to help environmental professionals implement the current policy, better understand the methods and approaches for applying Act 2, and learn about pending changes to Act 2.  This course can benefit entry-level scientists to gain an overview perspective of the Act 2 process, mid-level personnel, as well as senior level staff/project managers interested in deepening their understanding of the application of Act 2.  All attendees will be afforded the opportunity to ask questions throughout the training course to clarify their understanding of the materials presented.
